I believe we are put on this earth to help one another and be good stewards of all of God’s gifts. I look forward to partnering with you in this endeavor.
People often ask me, “Professional organizer? That’s a thing? What do you do?” It is a thing and it encompasses many skills. A professional organizer is a combination of mentor, teacher, and visual puzzle master.
Why not? Don’t we all deserve to live in an environment that gives us peace, free from the excess “stuff” interfering with a productive life? To clear your environment is to clear your mind so you can move forward in life. Are you paying late fees because your desk is overflowing? Are you frazzled just getting out the door in the morning trying to find your keys and shoes? Does your house scream one big “to do” list that is stressing you out? Let’s take simple steps together toward a simpler life.
I’m Laura Marrs. I’ve been a teacher for thirteen years and worked in a sizable archive for eleven years. I am a member of both the national and St. Louis Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). I have a Specialist Certificate in residential organizing. Organizing is in my DNA and “acts of service” is my love language. It is a joy to pair these two things in helping you create an environment of peace and beauty in your home.
I can teach you simple decluttering and organizing steps for your home. I can work side by side with you until the end, or set up a one-time session that gets you moving in the right direction. In the end, you’ll have a space that will help you work and live more productively.
Home sweet home! As a residential specialist, I can help you get your home staged to sell, assist you in unpacking after a move or organize your existing space. If there is a space in your home holding you back, call and set up a consultation.
Let’s get you on the schedule! If you are ready for a change, and are ready to work to make that change happen, contact me below.
"Laura and Simple Steps Organizing STL was such a blessing to me as I began organizing and simplifying our home and life. I didn't know where or how to begin. But the first day she was here we got rid of so much unneeded stuff----a whole trunk's worth. Laura is gentle with her suggestions and she can help give you courage to take that first step. She'll hold your hand or let you do it. No pressure, but great results! I've known Laura for years, and she was encouraging me way before she officially started her business. I highly recommend Simple Steps Organizing STL!”
